Chili Cheese Pigs in a Blanket

  • 4 hot dogs
  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 2 slices cheese (can swap for shredded)
  • 1/2 C chili
  • Salad Supreme (optional)


  • Open the crescent rolls and separate along the perforations. Lay the triangle pieces of roll dough flat.
  • Cut each of the hot dogs in half.
  • Place a small spoonful of chili on the dough.
  • If using cheese slices cut into 8 pieces total. Sprinkle or lay cheese on top of chili.
  • Top with the hot dogs.
  • Roll the hot dogs, chili and cheese into the dough to form a crescent roll shape.
  • If desired top with Salad Supreme seasoning for some extra flavor and color.
  • Back according to the crescent roll package directions.



  • A warning. You will be tempted to over stuff these. It's hard not to but you really only need a small spoonful (like teaspoon small) of chili.
  • You can use a sorts of chili, beans, no beans, homemade or store bought from a can.
  • Try out different types of cheese, I've used both sliced havarti and shredded Mexican mix but use whatever you have on hand!
