Every year I get a rush before Halloween and I have to cut off taking orders early in October. My big sellers are my baby Pebbles and Bam Bam costumes  It always makes me bummed to have to turn so many people away so this year I decided to have an early bird sale before the Halloween orders start coming in (usually the beginning of August) so hopefully I get a jump on things.

So, I’m offering free shipping during the month of June through July 11th to anyone who buys costumes from my etsy store and enters this code COSTUMEFS into the coupon code section. The free shipping will apply to your entire order and I’m more than happy for you to buy non-costume items as well but please make sure your order contains at lease one costume. Feel free to let your friends know about the code too.

I’ve been lucky enough to do a bunch of custom and wholesale lately orders for which I’ve been able to make a bunch of new sets. Not only have I had the fun of coming up with over twenty new designs but I finally have been forced to make some goodies for the boys.

I’ll be adding all these sets and some new bottoms to the shop all next week. I hope you like them and if you have suggestions for other designs I always like ideas. But here’s a sneak peak for now.

So yesterday early afternoon I checked my email to find an email from Arikka Von a local news anchor asking if she could interview me for a Cyber Monday story. After calling her she was on her way in umm an hour. My house was a mess I hadn’t showered yet and I had shoveled the whole driveway earlier, ummm yeah. I think it went well and they did a really nice job of focusing on my store name and all that good stuff. I didn’t expect any sales or business from it based my other tv experience (and I was right) but I just loved that she wanted to feature small businesses and Etsy in the shopping fuss too.  In case you missed it or aren’t in the state here it is (umm from me filming the tv).
