I was a little I was a little nervous about keeping the shop open while I was gone to Thailand for 3 weeks it seems like things went well. I finished filling the orders from while I was gone and it seems like everyone who ordered was well aware that they would have to wait a little longer than… View Post
Thanks to everyone who ordered while I was away for your continued patience as I create and fill your orders. Here are a few pictures from the trip. It was good fun, so much to say, I’ll just let the pictures do the speaking. customer appreciation pic.
I’m still in Thailand but one of my friends sent me a bunch of pictures of our mutual friend’s little one in her peek-a-boo dress. She was the very first tester of the peek-a-boo dresses! (all my pictures from my trip are on another computer but I plan to post some when I get home) customer appreciation pic
I’m still in Thailand but my friend sent me this picture of our other friend’s little girl in a peek-a-boo dress I sent her. I think this little one was the first guinea pig for my peek-a-boo dresses.
Thank you all for helping me pass my goal for September. I’ve just finished editing all my listings (phew that took a while) and now I just need to finish up my orders, write a few lectures (for my real job), finish up the shopping requests from my relatives, hand in a draft of my disseration proposal, pack my… View Post
So I had a lot of suggestions to add sleeves or give more sleeved options. So I have listed the option of adding white or coordinating sleeves to any peek-a-boo order for an additional 2.50. The sleeves are super stretchy so even the chubby arm girls can wear these without a problem.
Well as many of you know next week I’m off to Thailand for a little vacation. The the music maker and I took a trip down the freeway to go thrifting (he looks for records to sample)and fabric searching. He found the exact sample used on his new favorite CD panacea. (I don’t know how he can recognize single drumb beats and teeny loops but I guess that’s what happens when you spend most of… View Post
I’m going here, well at least part of the time. I’ll be visiting my parents (and little niece who will be out there) in Thailand. For part of the time we’ll be at this awesome beach (and yes it really looks like this). It’s the last week to get stuff to you before the end of October. I have… View Post
So these are my two Christmas designs for the year. Country Christmas (the pictures on the bottom row) I think is perfect for opening presents with the yummy smell of crackling bacon and sweet cinnamon rolls and the more casual family supper. On the other hand Nutcracker Christmas seems better for big fancy family feasts with turkey, cranberry sauce and… View Post
For those of you familiar with MyMy’s awesome web store you may or may not know that they opened a brick and mortar store in Hatboro, Pennsylvania. I’ve got a bunch of peek-a-boo dress sets (with the ruffle bums) on consignment there. If you’re in the area go visit. It seems like it’s a pretty cool place (I’m kinda… View Post
So this is my first attempt at a dress that at the moment I call pumpkiny. It’s supposed to be a nice deep pumpkin dress with a vine tie for the straps/collar. It’s meant to wear alone or over a long sleeve top/onesie or jeans. It’s shorter than the peek-a-boo dresses so it’s more like a mini dress or tunic… View Post
